Frequently asked questions

If your question isn't here, email us at [email protected] or via WhatsApp.

01 Does it work for commercial contracts in Chile?

Yes. FES with audit trail has probative value under Chilean Law 19.799 for most everyday commercial contracts (mandates, NDAs, offers, authorizations). For cases requiring FEA with accredited PSC, we refer.

02 FES vs FEA?

FES (Simple Electronic Signature) is what Sign covers: fast, with probative value, without need of accredited Certification Service Provider. FEA (Advanced Electronic Signature) requires accredited PSC for specific cases. Sign does not explicitly cover FEA.

03 Is ClaveÚnica certified?

Sign uses ClaveÚnica as authentication mechanism recognized by Chilean State. Integration respects Government OIDC protocols.

04 Where are signed PDFs stored?

Cloudflare R2 with at-rest encryption and signed URLs with TTL. No egress costs. You keep exportable local copy whenever you want.

Sign is in production signing documents every day.
