01 What does Chile Law 21.719 require of an accounting firm?
Accounting firms process income and debt-level data, which is sensitive data because it reveals the data subject's socioeconomic situation (art. 2, letter g), alongside personal data such as the RUT and contact details. Under Law 21.719 (full enforcement December 2026) they must publish a processing policy carrying the twelve contents of art. 14 ter, declare the lawful basis per purpose (typically contract execution or consent), run an ARCO+ request channel with requester identity verification answered within thirty calendar days (art. 11), define a retention period per data category (art. 3, letter c) and evidence the security measures adopted (art. 14 quinquies).
02 Does aGo integrate the portal with SII or existing accounting software?
Not by default. Custom integrations are built when the project requires them, based on agreed scope. ContabilidadVV is a client portal without direct integration to SII or to accounting software like Defontana or Nubox. If your project needs that type of integration, we quote it separately as a specific module.
03 How much does a custom portal for an accounting firm cost?
A portal with private areas, document management and forms is one module. Indicative: from 80 UF plus VAT for a base scope of one module and a documented stack. The final figure is set during discovery and depends on how many systems are involved, the state of the code and the third-party integrations. This is not an offer. After a 20-minute no-cost conversation we deliver a formal quote in 24 to 72 hours. When the work requires opening up what you already have running, the operational improvement map comes first, and it is discounted from the project.
04 Can my firm keep using its main accounting software?
Yes. The client portal is the relationship layer with the final client. The firm keeps its main accounting software as the source of truth. If the project later requires specific synchronization between the portal and another system, it's evaluated case by case.
