Minors' data under Law 21.719
Processing data of children and adolescents calls for the consent of their parents or legal representatives according to the age bracket (art. 16 quáter). A channel for the five data subject rights with guardian identity verification (art. 14 ter, letter f), a per-purpose processing policy carrying the twelve contents of art. 14 ter and a retention period defined per data category (art. 3, letter c).

01 What does Chilean Law 21.719 require from an educational institution?
Schools and universities process minors' data and sensitive data (health, socioeconomic status). Under Law 21.719 (effective December 2026), processing data of children under fourteen needs the consent of the parents or legal representative, and so does sensitive data of adolescents under sixteen (art. 16 quáter). They must also publish a processing policy carrying the twelve contents of art. 14 ter, declare the lawful basis per purpose, run an ARCO+ request channel with identity verification answered within thirty calendar days (art. 11) and evidence the security measures adopted (art. 14 quinquies).
02 Does aGo integrate with existing platforms like Moodle, Canvas or Schoology?
Not by default. When the project requires it, custom integration via API is built. The layer we typically add is complementary: parent-relationship portal, AI assistant over institutional content, administrative automation. We do not replace the main LMS.
03 How much does a custom portal for an educational institution cost?
A portal with private areas and document management is one module; with an AI assistant over your own documents it becomes several modules over a dedicated database. Indicative: from 80 UF plus VAT for a base scope of one module and a documented stack; from 150 UF plus VAT for a base scope of several modules over a dedicated database. The final figure is set during discovery and depends on how many systems are involved, the state of the code, the third-party integrations, how many modules are involved and the state of the code being integrated. 04 Can the platform be hosted on the institution's own infrastructure?
Yes. The Docker Compose stack runs on aGo-managed VPS (Hetzner, Hostinger, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud depending on requirements) or on client infrastructure. For institutions requiring local data residency, we evaluate in the initial conversation.
05 Do you have public cases in education?
